Trek 520

Met with John at George's Cycles in Boise and talked with him about the trip. He was very helpful in answering my questions about bikes, panniers, racks and more...

We talked a lot of the Trek 520 and it sounds like it may be the perfect bike for both Nick and me.

They have a couple of 2011 models at discounted pricing and the 2012s need to be ordered. The bike seems to be everything we would need for an enjoyable tour. Just need to get Nick in to see if the smaller frame size will work for him.
