Welcome to Ask me About my Beard!

In the summer of 2012 my son Nick and I will be riding our bikes across the country. Aside from the enjoyment of the experience we are also doing it for a special reason.

To have some fun with this...I made an agreement with Nick that I wouldn't shave until our ride is completed. So, on November 23, 2011, I shaved and will not be doing so again until we complete this awesome journey. Each week there will be pictures of how its going (or growing) on our blog. In addition we will be updating the blog with our training and you can follow along with us on our ride with photos and videos.
